Shiseido Maquillage Rouge Enamel Glamour
I haven’t tried any lipstick from a Japanese brand before, and thought I’d give this a try. I’ve owned them for about 3 months now and I love them! These babies don’t come off and all I need to do is to re-apply the light-collecting gloss.
This is what it looks like… with different applicators for rouge and gloss.

I find that while waiting for the rouge to dry, my lips are sticky – to the point of feeling like having drying glue on my lips. Once it’s OK (fingers don’t stick to lips when touched), I apply the gloss over it and voila! Nice glowy lips with natural colours that’ll last a long time!
Below is a caption I took from Shiseido’s website on how to apply the rouge enamel glamour:
First, apply the Adherent Liquid Rouge, then sit back and wait just one minute and let the magic happen.
Be patient: good color comes to those who wait.
Finally, add the Light-collecting Gloss.
Now beautiful lips with lasting color and shine are no longer just a dream.
Just to show you how the colours look like. As you can see, similar to Japanese eyeshadows, they are high shine and sheerer colours. On lips, I think it’s very flattering. These are a few of the colours I own as well.

I only have to re-apply the rouge after I’ve had some greasy food. Oil takes the colour away – hence, you need an oil-based makeup remover to do the job nicely as well. I just use my Shu Uemura cleansing oil for my whole face. Takes care of my eyes and lips as well.
If you like it, you should try it. I usually get compliments on the lip colour when I wear it
