Sunday Sharing: Trip to an Island
Just on a weekend recently, my family and I went up North to an island called Penang. We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel and here are a few pictures just to show you what good time we had, rubbing it in if your weekend was mundane. Hahaha! So Evil! More photos, less words. Coming up!
These LED lights were dangling from the ceiling at the main entrance of the hotel. The lights change colours every few seconds. We were mesmerised like little bugs attracted to bright lights. Such a touristy thing to do!
This is the view from our room balcony. The room was smaller than expected, but we didn’t stay there much anyway. Here’s what we did, and both Chloe and Ashlyn had a fantastic time.
Water slides!!! There was also a gigantic twirly one which Ashlyn loved but I couldn’t get a good photo of it.
The dare devil!! She didn’t do it again though. Hahaha! Thank goodness hubs was catching her at the bottom of the slide. Both girls can’t swim yet. In the short trip of 2 days and 1 night, I’d say the little ones had the best time. I think I was more exhausted than staying at home. Still, it was a great getaway, a break from routines.
This is the little area at the floor we stayed at, right in front of the elevators. The couch and the dangling chandelier made the little place look cosy and comfortable. Since this is a beauty blog after all, my post wouldn’t be complete without some sort of makeup related stuff. Not exactly cosmetics, but face painting
This is the last photo I’m sharing. Not much, I know, but it’s just a little peek into our family getaway. Chloe and Ashlyn say good bye and until next time!
xoxo Lily

I wonder if you’ll want to meet them the second time after you spent some time with them. Hahahaha!
Beautiful photos! Chloe and Ashlyn are so cute!!
Thanks Bellen. I’m sure Chloe and Ashlyn are flattered. Those are little vainpots!!
Wheee the girls are SOOOOOO cute!!! The hotel looks very fancy too! I’ve never seen a Hard Rock hotel anywhere, though one of my best friends T is a big fan of Hard Rock T-shirts, so during our trip to the US last year we constantly had to go to Hard Rock cafes he hasn’t been to so that he could collect more shirts! I think we’re getting one in Brussels finally too.

Haha, thanks Sunny. The hotel was smaller than expected. The T-shirts were all SO expensive! I still don’t know what the hype is because to me, it’s still just a T-Shirt. LOL!
My thoughts exactly. I guess people collect different things though. I’m sure most wouldn’t understand why we need so much makeup haha

true… I did go check it out, and the price certainly put me off. Thing is, we don’t NEED that much makeup. We just WANT all of them. Haha!
Hard rock hotel!! I stayed there with the family last year (or was it two years back) and we had an enjoyable time! Was a little noisy at night and the suite we stayed in seemed a little small! Did you get a massage at their cabana?

Oh no, no massages at all. In fact I was massaging the kids because they were so tired. Blah!
