Some Eye Candy: Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill
Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill #20 (Obsidian Black), #21 (Obsidian Grey) and #23 (Madre Perla) are not new but they are nothing less than gorgeous. I’ve talked about the texture before, so I’ll skip that, and just let us all enjoy the view. I know I enjoyed taking the photos…
Obsidian Black is a unique blend of black and blue with silver and teal sparkles. When worn, it pulls Prussian Blue on me, with gorgeous glimmers that are not over the top.
Obsidian Grey is more silver on me. It is the least unique shade of the 3, but I don’t have a good silver in my stash, and the formula of ETK is to die for.
Madre Perla is a gorgeous white with multi coloured fine glitter specks. It is great as a highlighter on the inner corners of the eye, or just to add some bling over an eyeshadow at the centre of the lid. I’ve worn it alone with just a black eye liner, and it brightens up my eyes like diamonds. This is absolutely beautiful! I don’t have anything like this in my collection so for me, this is a must have.

These 3 colours work very well together. I believe you can still get these at Giorgio Armani website (the last I checked anyway) and sometimes they pop up at StrawberryNet, which is where I got them. I have these for some time already. This post is merely to update the swatches AND to share the beauty, of course

Oh you should. They are super overpriced in Australia, I bet, so I suggest swatching it at the counter and buying online. LOL
Madre Perla is so pretty!! I don’t really wear dark eyeshadows, so the pearly white would probably be my pick if I was going to get one of the ETK.

After purchasing no. 3, 4, 24, and 21 in Seoul, I kinda regret, honestly. I love cream eyeshadows, and I have always love my Shimmer Eyeshadow from Shiseido as I do not experience any creases or fallouts at all, with or without primer. I find GA ETKs need a lil’ work to apply beautifully. Having said that, the colour of no.21 Obsidian Grey, which appears cooler on me, is really beautiful! I prefer it more than no. 4. No. 24, on the other hand, is another major disappointment for me although it was highly raved. It just didnt translate well on my skin. I should have gotten no. 25 or 22!!!! *cries*
Aww, it is disappointing when the colours don’t work, especially when the ETKs aren’t exactly the most wallet friendly. Don’t worry though. #24 is the Smokey Copper, isn’t it? I have that too. Try using it as a base, then pat some gold or bronze over it. Gorgeous result!
