DIOR Diorshow Mono Wet & Dry Backstage Eyeshadow Swatches

I scheduled my post for tomorrow, and it’s a skincare product. I never thought I’d be editing pictures on Valentine’s Day night. My hubby was actually nursing a really bad sore throat and flu, so I had my night free. I saw the Dior monos when I was at the mall, and as luck would have it, I had my camera with me! So, I was swatching away like a mad woman. Thank goodness I was friendly with the SAs. She even gave me an eye brush, plenty of tissues and cotton pads, brush cleanser and makeup remover so I could get my stuff done. If you’re in Ipoh, please go to Kinta City to look for Elise and support her. She supported my madness. LOL!

I swatched the colours both wet and dry side by side, and the ones on the left are dry, the ones on the right are wet. I find that some shades are no different wet OR dry, while some perform better wet and surprisingly, some perform better dry. I was sent Blue Denim and Khôl so you’ll find the swatches of these 2 missing. You’ll just have to wait for my in depth review :-P I have a few faves which I marked with a little heart, and I think there are many other shades which are gorgeous. Of course, if they don’t cost an arm and a leg each (RM105), I’d get all of them! OK, no more blabbing, on to the pictures.

These pictures do them no justice. These were taken indoors under low artificial light. The eyeshadows were buttery smooth, and when used wet, some turned metallic, some looked duochrome (some looked no different), you just have to go look for yourself. I will post a review soon enough. Until then, I hope these swatches helped!

Which one are you interested in?

I know, Tweed and Garden Party are absolutely beautiful. Choc Clair and Mordore can be duped in a way, but those two are a must have. I will have to get them one day. You must check them out. You’ll fall in love!

It’s a beautiful bronze and when wet, it’s metallic. I think it’s one of the better ones when applied wet, actually. You have to check it out. You’ll fall even harder!

They are! The texture is easy to work with and when wet, they are smooth and gilded. Just beautiful. You have to at least go see them in person :-)

And I keep thinking that Bow can be doubled as blush. What do you think, fellow blush fiend???

I think Bow COULD be doubled as a blush, but it would be a PITA trying to dip your brush into that little pan :-/
Mordore is like molten bronze. You gotta try it, dude!

It’s like that sometimes! There are too many beautiful colours at counters and we get sidetracked :-) Hope you like Sequins just as much in real life!
