Estee Lauder Nutritious Radiant Vitality 2-step Treatment Balances The Yin and Yang Of Our Skin

For every action, there is re-action. When there is light, there will also be darkness. It’s the balance of life and nature, and this 2-step treatment embraces that value. After detox, you also have to replenish with vitamins. This is the Nutritious Radiant Vitality 2-step Treatment, which is a face mask.

Step 1 is Detox while Step 2 is Infuse. The Detox half is a light clay while Infuse is a gel-like translucent cream which is to be applied after the clay is washed off. Isn’t the packaging cute? I opened it and thought it was definitely interesting. I didn’t expect the mask to look like this, and I was pleasantly surprised. This mask has the same scent as the essence oil, a sweet fruity scent, and you’ll either love it or hate it. One thing about the plastic cover is that it is rather thin and flimsy. When I haven’t figured out how to place back the cover, I got both the mask everywhere!

The trick is this. See the little dot below? You match the dot from the plastic cover to the tub before placing it back. That way, you’ll get it to fit perfectly without sliding everywhere, getting both the products mixed together. I wish they’d do something about this. I’m a little fussy when it comes to keeping my skincare and makeup clean, so it was getting to me when I kept getting the clay into the gel and vice versa!

Anyway, a little packaging hiccup aside, I do like this mask very much. I apply a thin layer of Detox all over my face (avoiding the eye area) and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. After washing it off, I apply another thin layer of Infuse then DO NOT wash it off. Habit kicked in and I washed it off the first time I used it. I was like “Darn, you silly dum dum…” I use this once a week, and it’s been keeping my face more radiant. Another thing I notice with this Nutritious line is that it helps me keep bumps away. I had a little bump here and there, and after using this mask, the bumps are flat the next morning. I tried it a few times, using this then the oil after, and it worked every time! I don’t know what it was, because the Nutritious line is to restore radiance to the skin, not getting rid of bumps.

So the combo below is great (for me) to fight off bumps AND make my skin look glowy. Definitely a keeper!

The 2-step Treatment is already available at all Estee Lauder counters nationwide, retailing for RM240. I wanted to say that you HAVE to check it out, and then I realised how individual skin is. If you have skin condition similar to mine, normal to combination oily, with some blackheads here and there, and little bumps once in a while, then do check it out!

The size? It’s as big as my palm. Detox 50ml, Infuse 30ml.

Sounds nice–glad it works so well for you, Lily! To be honest, I am a little afraid of Estee Lauder products. No matter what I try from the brand, it never seems to work (my skin starts to look dull and I either break out into lots of tiny little bumps or super-huge and annoying cystic acne :/)

Oh dear, that’s so awful! I’m so sorry it happens to you! Estee Lauder makes a lot of skincare products I love.

Haha that mask looks interesting! I’ve tried some Estee Lauder skincare, and I’m the most impressed with Advanced Night Repair. I already know the oil contains too much silicone for my skin, but maybe that mask is worth checking out!

You should have a try Sunny. I hope you’ll like it :-)

Yup, a good mask is a relief to the skin. I’m still looking for a good clay mask to deep cleanse my pores. Do you have any rec?

Oooo this I want to try! I’m not much of a mask girl but this one, as a weekly treatment, I could do that! :)

    • http://www.chloeash.com Lily

This is definitely a weekly treat :-) Do let me know how it works for you if you try it!

Getting rid of bumps sounds great, but that lid is going to annoy me so much! I’m not sure we have this here. I’ve never relied on Estee Lauder skincare to be honest. Never felt wowed by anything I sampled.

Some EL products work, some don’t. There are hits and misses from this brand, and this one works well for me :-)
