Review: Lancome L’Absolu Rouge and Creme de Brillance in 395 Rose Grenat

I’m not much of a Lancome person. My skin doesn’t really agree with Lancome skincare, or rather, Lancome doesn’t do much for my skin. I really like Lancome’s foundations, but only those made in Japan because the shade match is awesome – specially tailored for Asian skin tones. Then the rest, they’re not mind blowing and I just never really had a strong urge to really give the brand a chance. I picked these up about a year ago, because I was drawn to the shade. I think these are the only 2 Lancome lip products I ever purchased and kept. I bring you shade 395, Rose Grenat.

Review: Dior Addict Fluid Sticks in Mirage and Pandore

Dior Addict Fluid Sticks are lip hybrids. There have been so many lip hybrids lately, it’s getting a little boring. Truth be told, I received these a few months ago, even before I got pregnant, so it’s definitely a delayed review. I have my reasons for it though. The main one is no secret, with being sick and all, and another is because I don’t know how I feel about them. I’m sure by now, you’ve read a lot about them, that there is no wax in the ingredients, and all sorts of raves. Admittedly, I was very excited when I first got them. I tried them and tried them again but still couldn’t form a solid opinion.

Project Make A Dent #1

So I’m going to join fellow Lipstick Bandit Monika of Rocaille Writes in Project Make A Dent. I also saw Joyce of Bronzer Bunny writing about it, and thought why not. Basically, I will select a few products where I’ll be making concerted effort to use up, or in this case, make a dent. It all started at Lola’s Secret Beauty Blog, and I think it’s a great idea! Gummy from Gummy Vision is also doing it. If you’re interested, why don’t you join us?

Dior TRIANON Spring 2014 Collective Swatches and Brief Overview

Yup, Spring collection is officially out, and I just went to swatch these few products for you. I’ve never been a fan of Spring… pink overload and just too much pastel for my liking, but the coral blush of this collection caught my eye. The cream eye shadows are matte, and I thought that was interesting. Thing is, they were mostly sheer and was quite disappointing. I like that instead of lip products, the star palette contains a blush and the bow design is just really feminine and pretty.

So here are the swatches for you so you can have an overview of the colours Dior Spring 2014 has to offer. Warning: SUPER picture heavy!
