New Player In Town: Riviere D’or Cosmetics. A Review and A Penny For Your Thought?
This is my longest post yet, so bear with me!
I used to wonder how much better a skincare product would be if the amount spent on advertising, packaging and hiring top notch celebrities and models was actually used on the quality of the skincare itself. When I was approached by an unknown company to test their products, I was initially hesitant. I can’t find any reviews online. In fact, I can’t find much info on the company at all. I did question its credibility, but then even big luxury brands were once a nobody. It takes time to build credibility, and most of all, people who are willing to give it a go.
March Empties
Happy April Fool’s Day!
I want to start April by leaving some old stuff behind. I used up quite a few things since the last Empties post, and I want to share with you. There are a few makeup items I devoured – pretty happy there! So, let’s start with makeup
A Brief Write Up On Shiseido Perfect UV Protector SPF50 PA+++
I am picky with sunscreens. I have mentioned before that I dislike sunscreens that are heavy or greasy. Sometimes I go out right after work, and those dinner or outings might call for flash photography. I also dislike sunscreens that give me a white cast. That is why I love my Shiseido Perfect UV Protector SPF50 PA+++. I talked about Shiseido Multi-Defense UV Protector a long time ago, and I still can’t figure out what the difference is. The only obvious one I see is the blue rim, and perhaps the words “Very Water Resistant”.
Absolute Value! Go Get It If You Can: Lancôme Blockbuster Set
I told you about this Holiday set by Lancôme before. It is great value for money and I feel like I HAVE to tell you about it again. You should at least go have a look. I needed to replenish on toner and eye cream, which was just in time for this set. Purchase items worth RM250 and above to be entitled to purchase this set for RM250.
Peter Thomas Roth Protects Your Skin with Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Sunblock SPF30
Will I sound like a nagging grandmother if I told you again that you must put on sunblock every day, before you expose yourself in the sun? Harmful UV rays speed up our skin’s ageing process. If you don’t put on sunblock, even anti ageing products can’t help you much. I have always been diligent in applying SPF30 or SPF50 on my face. I was using the Neutrogena one for my body and then I stopped. It slipped my mind. Bad excuse, I know.
