FOTD: Dior Khaki Design 308 Eyes & Pictorial How To
I finally got my act together and processed the photos. I owed you the FOTD for Dior 5 Couleurs Designer Eyeshadow Palette in Khaki Design 308 which I featured recently, and here it is. I wore it for a dinner out and while I used the darker colours a little heavier, the look is still a soft smokey without being too dramatic.
Fingers only: A Quick EOTD for Saturday
Hello Saturday! I have been quite lazy with my makeup lately, and I’ve been trying to use as little products as possible. In fact, I’ve been enjoying applying my eye makeup with my… wait for it… *gasp* fingers! Well, I’ve always prefered brushes, but for this look, and for the products I use, I find that it is best applied using fingers. If you’re interested to know more, please read on.
FOTD: Fishtail Wing or something like that
What the heck is a fishtail wing? I don’t know. Everyone does cat eyes, so I do a fish eye. LOL… It’s just a name I came up with. It is another version of double winged eyeliner look which I recently posted. That one is more dramatic, and this is a softer version which is easily worn. It is the look I wore for the Dior Addict Extreme Plaza post. To refresh your memory, here is a close up of the eye.
FOTD: A Pop of Green for St Patrick’s Day
I haven’t done a look like this before, but I had to try it after Rae’s look inspired me. I thought this is something different for Spring and also, it’s St Patrick’s Day. Green is a must. To make the green really pop, I used purple, a complementary colour. This technique can be used for different colours. Just mix and match to your heart’s content! The pictures are best viewed if your computer’s brightness is set to the highest. You’ll be able to see the colours in its full glory
Subtle Gold and Burgundy Eyes with The Balm Nude’Tude
The last few days have been a little crazy, so I didn’t have much time to do a proper write up. So, I’m gonna present you a look I did with The Balm’s palette called Nude’tude. The name would make you imagine it is another Naked palette, but it is definitely not. I might do a detailed review on this palette, when I have the time. But for now, if you want the swatches, you can go to Christine’s blog, the ever famous Temptalia.
